Keep the lenses focused not only on UNR President Glick but also UNR Chief of Police Adam Garcia's long evolution, including the "Niko" dog abuse incident. Adam Garcia has consistently morphed from an earlier unscrupulous history at UNR.

It was Garcia, who admitted to the Reno Gazette Journal, after a hidden surveillance camera was discovered amongst 165 already existent and functioning Homeland Security Cameras, that it was the Campus Police who put the camera in place to watch a professor.

The camera was specifically aimed at the door of the professor to spy on him. Garcia admitted this under pressure when continuously questioned.

Garcia lied when he said that the camera was necessary because a swastika had been painted on the professor's office door. According to Garcia, the Campus Police aimed the hidden spy camera at the door to protect the professor.

The Homeland Security Cameras, however, revealed no such swastika painting, no individuals in the vicinity, or any other abnormal activity. Garcia was spying on the professor to try to get something on him in hopes of making him look bad. Once caught, Garcia manufactured the swastika story.

Garcia has a long history of lying and manufacturing evidence, and he and Glick, are in the chemistry business of corruption and fraud.

UNR's Fraud Machine

The fact that Charles Hilsabeck has bailed as a lawyer for UNR at this time, is quite revealing.

When UNR President Milton Glick and his cronies replace him as a lawyer in the fraud machine, it will be with someone as unethical or worse than Hilsabeck.

Glick and his cronies know the faculty, students, and citizens will put this new lawyer under the microscope.

This new hire will have to know up front that the position requires any and all relinquishment of ethics and honesty. He/she will be used by the legal team as a mere "convenience" to commit to manufacturing evidence and witness tampering....and whatever Glick deems fit to hide (re: what truly transpires at UNR).

The new hire will be be paid from the hard working taxpayers monies; millions of dollars in legal fees already spent, that Milton Glick has conveniently referred to, in the past, as "the state's piggybank".

Even though Glick hides in the shadows, his own words come back to haunt him.

Careers And Livelihoods Based On Fraud And Corruption

I finally watched the movie "The Blind Side" with Sandra Bullock.   First, how great is she in this movie!!

If you have not seen it, you must.   Keep in mind that this movie is based on a true story.

While watching it, I could not help but think of the criminals that I am fighting. I thought of Cary Groth, Mary Dugan, and Cindy Fox as I watched Sandra Bullock's unselfish, giving character.

Groth, Dugan, and Fox cannot possibly comprehend that people like Bullock's character exist in this world.

Groth, Dugan, and Fox base their careers and livelihoods on fraud and corruption. How could they even attempt to relate, appreciate, or understand Bullock's character?

To borrow a quote from the movie:

"If you die trying for something important than you have both honor and courage."

Groth, Dugan, and Fox could not even define honor and courage let alone respect those that have it.

Head Of NCAA Enforcement Retiring

David Price, who leads the NCAA enforcement staff at the national office, will retire December 1, 2010.

In his current position since August 1998, Price oversees a 43-person department that focuses on investigating major infractions, secondary infractions, and agents, gambling and amateurism issues.

An interesting but anticipated retirement by myself and several others.

Unfortunately, Mr. Price will not see the conclusion of "his work" on the UNR case from the inside.

UNR President Milton Glick Is Under Scrutiny Of The Virtual Lens

UNR President Milton Glick is now under the very close scrutiny of the "virtual lenses".

He can't hide, deflect, shoot meaningless information out via the Reno Gazette Journal with information that is meaningless, that really goes nowhere, disperses itself in all directions, and is gone in a flash (the astigmatic lens).

Glick will not be so quick "with the pen," as to what he does, as it will be reflected back onto him, and out into the taxpaying citizens.

I am wondering if he is beginning to feel like the trapped insect under the microscopic lens that he is, the same way he has intimidated and tried to demoralize innocent hardworking faculty and students while he has been an administrator.

Your website, "The Virtual Lens," is a back at Glick and his cronies, is out in the open, a reflection back at them for their use of hidden surveillance cameras and calumny that they don't want the citizens and public to know about. It keeps Glick and his cronies from operating in the shadows.

Glick watches innocent people then dissects them, deciding what "people" compound to use on them next.

Your website exposes all of that, and yes, I think all of the public officials in Reno and Nevada should be made aware of your website.

The "Virtual Lens," mirrors everything Glick does back at him.

...What I care about is that Cary Groth's girlfriend is getting favors and that she and Groth are part of the corrupt, fraudulent machine that President Glick employs to do his dirty work. They get merits and rewards.

Those honest persons who expose the fraud and corruption get demoted and punished.

That University is not going to impose its corrupt values on me, and that is why I tell everyone I know don't go there. Get your degree online if you must.

People are going to leave by the droves because of this university's reputation. Every businessman and senator, and mayor and employee of the university system should know about your website.

Soliciting students to invent stories is a real dead give away on how desperate they are.

It appears from the grand jury court transcripts, that President Glick and his legal cronies are working so hard to intimidate, coerce, manufacture evidence, and destroy persons with "character assassination".

Speaking of The Dog And Pony Show, I ran into a highly established member of the community last week.

I had never met him before so I was surprised how much he knew about me.

One of the first things mentioned was The Dog and Pony Show. He knew all about it and was well aware of who participated in the juvenile skit. He was quite pleased that it backfired on the retaliators.

He looked at me and rolled his eyes at the embarrassing behavior of the UNR lawyers and their little puppets [Athletic Director Cary Groth, Cindy Fox, Chief Adam Garcia, Graeme Abel, Tekla Martin, and Dr. Jean Perry].

Let's just say that he was less than impressed with the lack of maturity and ethics of the UNR administration.

The fact that Adam Pohll, Nevada's Men's and Women's Golf Coach resigned so suddenly, denotes and suggests the following:

1. Mr. Pohll was unaware of the depth and gravity of past corruption and shameful history of UNR until he read your webpage, and he saw through the veils and smoke of the pre-employment interview and hire, and personally began to feel and experience the discomforting backlash of UNR's past sins.

2. Mr. Pohll did not want to inherit, cover, or defend UNR's past corrupt and fraudulent history, or be any part of a force and muscle in any future misdeeds, subversion, or calumny against any innocent staff members, students, or employees.

If ethics is the reason, in part as to why Mr. Pohll left, let this be a lesson to UNR's President Glick and his cronies, on their ability to hire and retain worthy, ethical, responsible, and talented coaches, due to the corruption and past history of UNR.

A message from a reader (a parents perspective):

When setting an example of ethics in the college system, would you want someone who talked about ethics and sportsmanship, only to lie, cheat and gamble against NCAA violations?

Would you want Cary Groth or Cindy Fox telling your child to malign and lie against a coach?

Would you want decisions being made by, and would you feel safe with your child being on UNR grounds with, campus police who drink on the job and do not get fired?

Would you trust campus police to carry out legal matters honestly and effectively when they, themselves, can send porn and viruses, and do not get fired?

Would you trust a college who hires and retains someone with forged signatures on their Master's Thesis?

Would you trust a college who hires a lawyer, Mary Dugan, who engages in shenanigans with a local judge and falsifies personnel files?

Would you want a coach who goes to "Fantasy Girls," then drinks to a .133 blood alcohol level, and speeds down the streets of Reno, looking out for the safety and welfare of your children on the slopes?

Would you trust a President who retains a professor who sexually harasses employees and students?

I know with all of the above, I would not only be very concerned, but afraid that these people make decisions over my children when I am not there.

These administrators act "In loco parentis," and are dangerous and a menace to society.

Why aren't they fired? They should not be entrusted with any positions of, "In loco parentis."

There are good responsible administrators and faculty members. But the fact that those who are not do not get fired outright, makes me not want my children or grandchildren to attend UNR. It is an unsafe campus.

Nevada Golf Coach Resigns - "Do You Blame Him?"

Nevada's Men's and Women's Golf Coach, Adam Pohll, resigned last week. Seems it caught the athletic
administration off guard as they appear to be avoiding a press release on the subject.

Pohll was originally hired to replace the women's coach who took a job elsewhere on campus. Pohll later added the men's program to his responsibilities after Rich Merritt was fired over major NCAA violations.

The golf program was under investigation when Pohll was hired...But I doubt Pohll was advised of the mess he was getting himself into.

He resigns with the women's team in last place. The men finished third with a very senior laden squad.

With reductions in scholarships for both programs on the horizon (penalties for Merritt's misconduct), it is hard to fathom that the Nevada golf programs future is very bright in the near term.

The student-athletes are getting the raw end of the deal, again, due to A.D. Cary Groth's mismanagement.

Groth was determined to keep Rich Merritt at all costs...student-athletes and the golf program be damned.

Judicial Fraud And Collusion In Its Rawest Form

Generally speaking a judge acting in his judicial capacity is immune from liability for his actions.

However, when a judge's actions fall outside his jurisdiction, he can be held accountable and is not immune to being sued. This also holds true when a judge violates the constitutional rights of a person.

Also when a judge acts as a trespasser of the law, when a judge does not follow the law, he then loses jurisdiction and the judges orders are void, of no legal force or affect.

The "judge" in my case has repeatedly issued orders outside his jurisdiction to assist his "friends" in the UNR General Counsel's Office. This "judge" is a trespasser of the law and he does not follow the law. This "judge" has also violated my constitutional rights.

The "judge" was a member of the UNR legal team as recently as 2006.

Ahh...now you know the dirty little secret of my litigation: Judicial fraud and collusion in its rawest form.

UNR's Retaliation Is Oh So Transparent

If you have been following the corruption trail on the UNR campus, especially that in the UNR Police Department under Chief Adam Garcia, then you are well acquainted with these incidents:

1) The 2009 case of a UNR Sergeant who was fired after being cited for "vehicle registration violations".

2) The 2004 case of former UNRPD Lt. Kevin Youngflesh who was "arrested for drunk driving in a UNR police car". Youngflesh was demoted but then rocketed through the ranks to lieutenant by 2007.

"UNR officials would not comment on the disparity of punishments other than to say that a new president, Milton Glick, has since taken charge at the university."

A couple of points of interest here:

1) UNR's response does not add up when you factor in that President Glick has since retained a coach who was arrested and convicted of a DUI in 2009. So the "change in presidents excuse" is clearly a lie.

2) The Sergeant fired for vehicle registration violations spoke out on public corruption at UNR. Hmmm...

Yes, Glick knows about the coach's DUI conviction. This disparate treatment is proof of retaliation.

UNR Administration "Mocking The Law As If It Were A Joke"...

Following with great interest your "Dog & Pony" serial...

Of course I have my motives, perhaps the most noble one being the intense need to see justice done....

I guess the frustration stems from the fact that the administration holds out the university as some altruistic entity, with Truth, Justice, and The American Way on their halberd.

The words say that, but their actions say "We do whatever we damned well please to achieve our goals."

What's wrong with that?

Their goals are not noble, nor are they in the best interests of the students long term or otherwise.

As you go higher up in the administrative chain, the more emboldened they become, lying more freely at each stage, mocking the law as if it were a joke.

As though it were a tool they owned to invoke at their leisure, for their convenience. Most troubling is that it seems to be happening at lower and lower levels.

The Retaliation Team Is Unraveling At The Seams

So I have been thinking about the retaliation team of liars that I have been dealing with. It is truly stunning how some of these people lie about, well . . . nearly everything.

So picture a meeting involving some or all of the following:

Cary Groth, Cindy Fox, Graeme Abel, Mary Dugan, Kent Robison, Charles Hilsabeck, Jean Perry, Adam Garcia, and Antoinette Marjanovic.

When they walk out of the meeting how would they know what to believe. How can they trust each other?

The answers quite simply is: They can't.

I have secured evidence of the "team" unraveling at the seams as they each try to save themselves.

Budget Crisis Or Smoke And Mirrors?

Here is some new information on the University of Nevada coach who was arrested and convicted of a DUI.

Because the coach lost his driver's license, Athletic Director Cary Groth sent an athletic department staff member on team road trips to drive the student-athletes. This led to additional expenses in airfare, hotel rooms, and per diem throughout the entire season; not to mention the time taken away from the staff members actual job duties.

Arrangements also had to be made for local transportation for the athletes since the team trains off-campus. His DUI clearly interfered with his job and cost the university in the thousands of dollars.

So while President Glick cuts employment positions, academic programs, and students opportunities, he is willing to waste university money on a coach, errr role model, who was arrested and convicted of a DUI -speeding away from a strip club with a blood alcohol level of .133.

Hofstra, on the other hand, just suspended their Basketball Coach WITHOUT PAY for the same offense.

Be sure to share this gross waste of university money with anyone you know who is suffering from the state budget cuts. They have a right to know where Groth's and Glick's priorities lie.

UPDATE: HOFSTRA FORCES THEIR BASKETBALL COACH TO RESIGN OVER DUI ARREST.

UNR, however, continues their support of their coach who was arrested and CONVICTED of the same.

Cary Groth And Cindy Fox Violated The Trust Of Athletes, Families

I have been thinking about the lack of leadership displayed at the University of Nevada regarding Rich Merritt.

Both Athletic Director Cary Groth and then-Executive Associate Athletic Director Cindy Fox were 100% aware of Coach Merritt's gross misconduct in June 2007.

Yet they retained him for a full year after that. Groth only terminated Merritt in June 2008 after the NCAA came to town to investigate his misconduct.

So my questions are:

1)    If Fox's daughter was paid to engage in crass acts by Merritt would she have retained him?

2)    If it was Fox's son that was hit by Rich Merritt would she have retained him?

3)    If it was Fox's children whose eligibility was put at risk by Merritt would she have retained him?

Groth and Fox are/were in positions of leadership. Parents entrusted them to look out for the welfare of their sons and daughters.

Groth and Fox went out of their way to retain a coach (Merritt) that the NCAA has banned from coaching at any NCAA institution for the next 2 years. Shameful, disgraceful, and embarrassing.

It is clear that Groth and Fox violated the trust of these athletes and families, and are clearly not worthy of such positions of leadership and trust.

Note: Groth does not have children. Hence the reference to Fox's.

I guess you could say that I was so appalled that I had to re-read, "University of Nevada Coach Arrested and Convicted of a DUI," four times over, just to make sure of what I was actually reading and comprehending in print!

So a coach with a .133 blood alcohol, with a DUI, leaving the "Fantasy Girls," nightclub,  is still employed?!

This is incredible, absolutely incredible. A total lack of responsibility in coaches that should be setting examples.

It proves his lack of honesty, ethics, and morality in coaching and mentoring minor age students, as this is an extremely poor example to our youth, and he is dangerous to the general public at large.

This DUI certainly is further testimony of his amoral and unethical character and the types of persons that UNR not only employs, but consistently continues to retain in very high positions of responsibility.

Several other people have commented on the Reno Gazette Journal covering this one up for UNR. The RGJ has no problem putting an athlete on the front page for the same offense.

When the UNR leadership does wrong, the RGJ fails to inform the community they are entrusted to serve.

"When You're Living A Life That Is A Lie..."

I ran across this ESPN article about Tiger Woods last week.

"Look at what I was engaged in," Woods said. "When you're living a life that is a lie, life isn't fun ..."

Woods apologized to his family, friends and business associates and promising to "make amends, and that starts by never repeating the mistakes I've made. It's up to me to start living a life of integrity."

"I fooled myself as well. I lied to a lot of people, deceived a lot of people, kept others in the dark."

"Rationalized and even lied to myself. And when you strip that all away ... the full magnitude of it, it's pretty brutal. I take full responsibility for what I've done, and I don't take that lightly."

A certain Nevada assistant basketball coach had his moment of truth, admitting he lied.

Cary Groth, Cindy Fox, Graeme Abel, Antoinette Marjanovic, Jean Perry, Mary Dugan, Kent Robison, Charles Hilsabeck, Jane Tors, Adam Garcia, and Rich Merritt should take note of Tiger's very public moment of truth and own up to their own life of lies.

So, Nevada sports has gotten attention by thousands of hits on your website. I wonder if they have been reading the court transcripts from the UNR Corruption hearing, too.

I am thoroughly impressed with the stands that you have taken.

President Milton Glick and Athletic Director Cary Groth have to be so embarrassed by now. That is, if they are not amoral and there is any shred of conscience in them, but truthfully, I doubt that there is at all.

You know that UNR President Milton Glick, Mary Dugan, Cary Groth, Kent Robison, and UNR Campus Police Chief Adam Garcia are squirming right now.

This is just the tip of the iceberg at what has gone on at that university.

The last number in the Reno Gazette Journal was 7.1 million dollars paid out in litigation, but with all of this and the grand jury, it has to be close to at least 10 million.

I hope the Reno Gazette Journal keeps all of this news at the forefront under education, to alert the taxpayers, instead of the corny articles they deem newsworthy.

University Pays The Price For President Glick, A.D. Groth's Actions

The most recent post on www.unrgrandjury.com also talks about the NCAA penalties against the University of Nevada.

Two paragraphs of note that deserve attention:

Athletic Director Groth knew of nearly every one of Merritt’s violations in August 2007. Yet she retained him anyway, knowing that he repeatedly lied to the UNR administration, jeopardized the eligibility and welfare of his student-athletes, and put the entire university athletics program at risk.

In October 2007, UNR President Milton Glick, was informed of Athletic Director Groth’s reckless disregard for the athletic program and the student-athletes. Despite being afforded the opportunity to handle the violations internally, Glick refused to do so ... A citizen then filed a whistleblower complaint with the NCAA detailing violations in Nevada Athletics.

That is the true story on why Nevada ended up being investigated and sanctioned by the NCAA.

Applause, Applause

Here is a well written article from the Nevada Sagebrush that calls out the Athletic Department Administration for their responsibility in former golf coach Rich Merritt's improprieties. It also includes other examples of mismanagement by Groth.

"Merritt got away with his crass acts under the athletic department’s watch because he wasn’t properly monitored. Such lax monitoring policies are dangerous for a program just a few blocks from several casinos."

"During the tsunami warnings last month when two Nevada teams were in Hawaii, Groth only communicated with one team — the men’s basketball team. The rifle team, also in a hotel on the Oahu coast, wasn’t contacted during the state’s first coastal evacuation in 16 years. Groth said she didn’t even have rifle coach Fred Harvey’s cell phone number."

Groth's statement does not ring true since every coach has to file a travel manifest with all their contact numbers before they leave on team travel. She also could have tried the hotel number.

Then again, student-athlete welfare has never been Groth's concern . . . as noted by her retention of Coach Merritt after Groth knew that Merritt jeopardized the eligibility and welfare of his student-athletes.

"You Won Exposing The NCAA Violations"

You won exposing the NCAA violations. Kent Robison, Cary Groth, Milton Glick and others, saying there was no NCAA investigation are all being exposed for the corrupt and unethical people that they are.

I don't know your family, but please tell them that I have the utmost respect for them in supporting you, sticking together, and following this ordeal through to the very end.

Glick, Groth, and others need to be fired, but what usually happens they are asked to seek employment elsewhere and their being asked to leave sounds like a benign mutual agreement for all parties.

Thank you so much for all that you have done in exposing the corruption at UNR.

The Dog And Pony Show - Final Wrap Up

Just a wrap up to "The Dog And Pony Show" that I have spoke about in posts below and on blog #1:

And of course, the UNR legal team of Kent Robison, Charles Hilsabeck, and John Arrascada (on behalf of General Counsel Mary Dugan).

As for the motivation of these folks . . . On December 10, 2009, I (and two others) successfully petitioned the district court to convene a grand jury investigation of public corruption at UNR. That very same day, the UNR administration was ordered to appear in Indianapolis before the NCAA Committee on Infractions to answer to major violations of NCAA rules in the Nevada Athletic Department. Eight days later the "Team" moved to retaliate and harass me with their "Dog And Pony Show".

Each one of the participants above was directly implicated in criminal activity at the grand jury hearing. The only exception is Tekla Martin. However, if you click on her name you will quickly see her transparent and rather desperate motivation to assist her corrupt friend, Groth.

The number of participants in this court room fraud, which included perjury and manufactured evidence, demonstrates how sad and desperate these people are.

One would want to believe that these individuals, in the positions they have held, would have enough self respect to be honorable and truthful; rather than sell their souls in the name of public corruption.

Things I Learned At The Dog And Pony Show - Part 5

UNR Police Chief Adam Garcia made an appearance at "The Dog And Pony Show".  For background info:

- Garcia was implicated in corruption charges by several citizens at the UNR grand jury hearing.

- Garcia was ordered to reinstate a police officer after the officer successfully claimed retaliation.

- Garcia has TWICE had "no confidence" votes levied against him by his officers.

- Garcia was at the head of an animal abuse scandal in his department.

- Garcia was at the head of a pornography email scandal in his department.

"Obviously, from the descriptions of the e-mails, I find it abhorrent behavior for members of the campus community to be sending these through campus e-mail," UNR President Glick said.

So Garcia showed up at "The Dog And Pony Show" to retaliate against me for my role in exposing his corrupt leadership. Garcia, of course, lied.

It should be noted that Garcia was also publicly called a liar by the President of the Nevada State Law Enforcement Officers Association.

Garcia said he does not read my blogs because he knows that I talk about him.  I am not buying it though since he said the same thing about the abundance of pornography in his UNR email account.

Of note, Garcia has applied for several jobs over the past year couple of years. Does he have notice that his contract is not going to be renewed? Is he running from the grand jury investigation? Or is he tired of being the gatekeeper for the corrupt UNR administration?

Things I Learned At The Dog And Pony Show - Part 4

As I mentioned in several posts below, I saw the retaliation team recently at "The Dog and Pony Show".

Here are a few additional tidbits from there:

1)    I learned that Nevada Athletic Director Cary Groth lies a lot. Oh wait ... I already knew that.

2)    I also learned that an employee in the Nevada Athletic Department named Tekla Martin appears to be nervous that AD Groth's employment position may be tenuous.

Tekla came to UNR from Northern Illinois University. She used to work for Groth at NIU and they are pals. Tekla was hired at twice the salary of the person she was hired to replace at UNR. Hmmmm ...

It is evident that Tekla's employment and generous salary are due to her relationship with Groth ... and
therefore would be motivating factors in protecting her corrupt friend (AD Groth). It was no surprise then when Tekla appeared at The Dog and Pony Show as a member of the retaliation team.

Just like Dr. Jean Perry, Tekla offered nothing of redeeming value.  Tekla's testimony served absolutely no purpose in a court room. Yet, just like the rest of the retaliation team, she allowed the UNR attorneys to use her and make a public spectacle of herself. Some people have no self respect.

Next time you see Tekla Martin tell her that one is not allowed to speak for "others" in the court of law ...   Especially when "others" do not support what she proclaimed on their behalf.

Things I Learned At The Dog And Pony Show - Part 3

As I mentioned in posts below, I saw the retaliation team recently at "The Dog and Pony Show".

Here is some additional information I gathered from there:

I learned that my dear friend Cindy Fox seems to miss me in Georgia. She said that she wonders if I will come by and visit her there.

I found this to be a bit odd since I never stopped by to visit her (in Reno) once I left the University.

Oh well, certain friendships just have that kind of gravitational pull to some people I guess.

I also learned that someone is unhappy with her husband, University of Georgia Basketball Coach Mark Fox.

Cindy said someone made some "insidious accusations" about Coach Fox to the Georgia Athletic Director.

Here is hoping my old friend can find some solid footing in her new hometown . . .

"Keep Everything Cary Groth Does Transparent And Out In The Open"

A message I received today:

Well I hope that a full disclosure of the NCAA violations and Cary Groth makes a prominent article page in the Reno Gazette Journal, unlike the last articles that UNR Corruption was going before the Grand Jury, and that UNR lied when it said it was no longer being investigated for NCAA violations.

Terri, I have seen the "corniest" articles stay for a week under the Education sub-heading in the Reno Gazette Journal and receive more prominent positions in the news for reader's interest, than the fact UNR is corrupt, and the staff lies for them.

The taxpayers need to know the truth.

I am happy to see that you devoted a whole blog site to Cary Groth, because she doesn't like your blogs!

Keep everything she does transparent and out in the open.

Things I Learned At The Dog And Pony Show - Part 2

In UNR's desperate attempts to manufacture evidence against me the administration sought out the assistance of my assistant coaches, Graeme Abel and Antoinette Marjanovic.

Acting as little pawns of the administration, Graeme and Antoinette manufactured a report against me; two individuals trying to describe something that never actually happened.

Well, you can imagine then that their "stories" were an embarrassing contradiction of each others.

I laughed out loud when I read them. Does anybody proof read this stuff before they submit it?!

After I exposed this fraudulent conduct, the attorneys suckered Graeme into appearing by telephone at "The Dog And Pony Show" in an attempt to confirm and reiterate his previous "story".

BIG PROBLEM!   His story changed drastically from what he wrote in the report. Don't these people learn?

At least Graeme did admit what I had already uncovered: That Graeme and Antoinette wrote this report at the suggestion of the administration.

I filed a report and pressed criminal charges against my assistant coaches for this criminal conduct. Not surprisingly, Antoinette's "story" changed 180 degrees in that police interview.

You know the saying? For liars it is difficult to keep their stories straight.

Things I Learned At The Dog And Pony Show - Part I

I mentioned on blog #1 that I saw the retaliation team a couple of weeks ago at "The Dog and Pony Show".

Suffice to say I gleaned a lot of useful information there. Too much information to put in one post so I thought I would just mention a couple of tidbits for today.

1)    I learned that Nevada Athletic Director Cary Groth does not like my blogs.

       So I tried to figure out what I could do to see if she might like my blogs better.

        Blog #3 is now devoted entirely to Athletic Director Cary Groth.

       In the left hand column near the top I have created Athletic Director Cary Groth's own link as Blog #3.

2)    I also learned that my former boss and good friend, Cindy Fox, had her car vandalized in 2007.

       It appears Cindy Fox was the victim of a rash of car break-ins / vandalism on campus.

Their Own Whirlpool Of Lies

The town I grew up in is all beaches with different characteristics. One of the most beautiful beaches (sand & water) is known for its whirlpools.

I experienced one of these whirlpools once and it affected the way I approach swimming since then. Simply I had a second chance to live because of a miracle.

Once you are sucked in one of those whirlpools, you are not going to get out even if you are the best swimmer.

These guys you saw at "the dog and pony show" last week are sucked in their own whirlpool of lies.

They are grasping for air but it doesn't help because they are dead inside anyway.

Doctoring Legal Documents, Illegal Subpoenas, Mail Fraud, False Pretense

I received a message the other day out of Phoenix, Arizona . . .

There is a rumor going around in the Phoenix legal community about a coach's wife doctoring court documents and filing an illegal subpoena in a lawsuit under false pretense.

The legal community there is said to be in shock that something like this could happen.

Guess whose case this so-called rumor is referring to? Yep, it is mine.

Sadly it is not a rumor. This criminal conduct did occur.

Reason: To falsify personnel files at my previous employer, Arizona State University. Yet, another crime!

This charade also involved mail fraud . . . a federal offense.

Unethical Conduct And The NCAA

I have been reading up on another university currently under investigation by the NCAA.

This case involves Arizona State University. I know those involved having worked there previously.

The Arizona Republic ran an interesting story on the specific allegations levied against ASU by the NCAA.

One allegation that jumped out at me was this one:

A then-assistant coach engaged in unethical conduct by denying he had conversations with another staff member about improper phone calls to prospects, the NCAA said.

So this coach is being hit with a charge of unethical conduct for "providing false and misleading information" to the NCAA . . . as he should.

Terri Patraw: NCAA Committee On Infractions Stance On Lying

I ran across this quote in an NCAA major infractions case involving another university:

This was a serious infractions case, which included academic fraud and the provision of false and misleading information, violations the NCAA Committee on Infractions considers to be egregious.

Good to know that the NCAA Committee on Infractions takes lying seriously.

We know that University of Nevada Athletic Director Cary Groth retained Golf Coach Rich Merritt with full knowledge that he repeatedly lied and mislead the administration.

We also know that President Milton Glick retained AD Groth with full knowledge that she has lied to donors, judges, students, employees, colleagues, the community, and "others" in her position as Athletic Director.

Glick also knows that AD Groth committed perjury on numerous occasions and falsified documents to cover up her own misconduct.

Glick rewarded his corrupt Athletic Director with a 3-year contract extension.

The NCAA is the governing body that sets the rules and standards of conduct that Groth and Glick are supposed to adhere to as representatives of UNR.

Clearly the actions of Groth and Glick are not congruent with the spoken edict of the NCAA Committee on Infractions.

AD Groth and President Glick have put the university at risk of serious sanctions by the NCAA.

Terri Patraw: On Transparently Corrupt Officials

I ran across this quote by Nevada Attorney General Catherine Cortez Masto in a recent newspaper article:

“The attorney general’s office is dedicated to assuring the law is followed . . . ”

I laughed out loud when I read it. AG Masto is not dedicated to assuring the law is followed. I met with her personally, along with a few other citizens, regarding the corruption at the University of Nevada, Reno. AG Masto nervously assured us she would look into our allegations.

We then informed her that we had concerns about her office conducting a legitimate investigation as there were many conflicts of interest among her investigative team and UNR officials.  We specifically singled out one individual in her office who was clearly incapable of running an objective investigation of these allegations due to his own admitted bias.

Masto's response was to put this person in charge of overseeing the investigation! Shortly after they began their investigation, another investigator in the AG's office called us to ask us if we would drop our complaint. We could not believe they were so transparent! We said no to this ridiculous request.

This investigator then dismissed the complaint . . . ignoring over 135 allegations, covering up several others, and refusing to meet with witnesses, including the citizens who made the complaint!

A funny thing happened though. Literally the day after the AG's office dismissed the complaint, the Nevada Supreme Court ordered an evidentiary hearing in the district court to hear evidence of corruption by UNR officials. The district court responded to the citizens presentation at this hearing by stating that there was enough evidence to convene a crimial grand jury investigation of UNR.

The investigator from the AG's office (the same bozo who asked us to drop our complaint) called and asked if we were going to use his investigation as evidence for the grand jury! He knew his investigation was a fraud and that we could implicate him with it.

Good to know how your tax dollars are being spent in Nevada, huh?   The AG is supposed to be the top cop in the state. What a bad comedy act AG Masto's office is.

Another bit of information . . . UNR General Counsel Mary Dugan and Assistant General Counsel Charles Hilsabeck were previously employed in the AG's office. Dugan and Hilsabeck are leaders of the retaliation and corruption at UNR. What does this say about the level of integrity one needs to possess in order to work for the Nevada Attorney General?

Terri Patraw: A Corruption Free Week

I just had the best week I have had in 2+ years.  It was 100% corruption free. No bad guys, no bad judges, no bad lawyers, no bad athletic directors, no bad presidents, etc, etc.

One thing that continues to amaze me is how many hits I receive on my blogs. I truly and genuinely appreciate the support that I have received from all over the country and even other parts of the world!

After my wonderful week away, I returned to a very cool message from a wonderful person. You never know who is reading your blogs!

My jaw is still on the floor! I cannot believe what you have been through and the amount of corruption you have uncovered.

I have just spent the last couple of hours reading parts of the court transcript. I had no intention of reading so much, but I just found it so unbelievable.

I think I first heard about this from my brother when he read something in the paper a while ago...I don't even remember exactly. But today, for whatever reason, I decided to read your blog again for an update. And then I started reading the transcript and kept going.

So, congratulations on making it to the next step. I will keep checking in and wishing you the very best!

I have had many people say the same thing to me about the court transcript from the University of Nevada, Reno Public Corruption Hearing. . . "that they cannot put it down once they start reading it".

It is hard to believe that this stuff really goes on at an institution of higher learning and that the Board of Regents continues to look the other way.

Justice will be served soon and the corrupt will be held accountable . . . both civilly and criminally.

Terri Patraw: NCAA Launched Second Probe Into University

I ran across this interesting 2008 case regarding another university that is very familiar with NCAA Investigations.

NCAA Launches Another Probe Into Southeast Athletics

As if the Southeast Missouri State athletics department didn't have enough problems, now comes even more.

Last week's announcement that the NCAA again is investigating the Southeast athletics program — this time following up on new information relating to the men's basketball program — was stunning to say the least.

The letter Southeast received from the NCAA, which was made public last week, said information that was developed between April, when university officials made an appearance before the NCAA Committee on Infractions, and June, when the committee released its report on the previous infractions, led to the new investigation.

It turns out that as the NCAA was finishing their original investigation into this University, they were informed of new information about possible misconduct. This new information led the NCAA to open another investigation into the same University.

Terri Patraw: Yet Another Title IX Lawsuit At Fresno State

A former Fresno State track and field assistant coach has settled a gender-discrimination lawsuit against the school and the California State University board of trustees for $300,000.

Ramona Pagel, a former Olympic shot-putter, alleged gender discrimination, retaliation and failure to maintain an environment free of discrimination and harassment after she was passed over for the head coaching position when Bob Fraley retired last year.

In addition, Pagel claimed that after the new coach took over, she wasn't given an interview for the assistant job she held for three seasons. She no longer is at Fresno State.

The California State University system has paid out more than $16 million in discrimination lawsuits or legal disputes since October 2007 involving five current and former female employees of the Fresno State athletic department.

This university has not learned despite being "brought to its' knees" in civil litigation in 2007-08.

Terri Patraw: Evidence Of Money Laundering At UNR

PRESENTER: Witness, you made a point before lunch that there are no state fees allocated for legal defense to the College of Agriculture, nor are there any federal funds allocated for legal defense.

So what must be going on here when the College of Agriculture is making payments, some of them, like on page 1069, $30,656 to the law firm?

WITNESS: . . . there is no fund to pay for this, because the State audits its money; the federal government audits its money.

So the way it works, you get to the end of the year, and if there is money left over from the state, they do something called JV, which is journal voucher.

So they transfer the money to pay something in another account by journal voucher and then they transfer the money to a third account by journal voucher, and then by the third transaction or the fourth transaction, if some audit happens, there is no way to go back to find out where the money comes from because of all of these different accounts the money went through in terms of the transfer process.

PRESENTER: So the point -- I believe these documents establish, Your Honor, that somehow the College of Agriculture is finding money to pay legal expenses that typically in some months are amounting to over $30,000, without any funds ever being budgeted for that purpose.

This process of journal vouchering that the witness described in any other setting would be called money laundering.

Terri Patraw: NCAA Takes Proper Stance On Lying

The NCAA rejected Oklahoma State's appeal to reinstate All-American wide receiver Dez Bryant on Thursday, meaning he won't be back this season. The junior is considered a top NFL prospect and few expect him to return for another season in Stillwater.

Bryant sat out the past five games for Oklahoma State (6-2, 3-1 Big 12) after the school ruled him ineligible for lying to an NCAA investigator looking into Bryant's offseason meeting with former NFL player Deion Sanders.

The NCAA decided last week that Bryant should be suspended until next September, and OSU appealed to the NCAA's Student-Athlete Reinstatement Committee. That group announced Thursday that it had rejected Bryant's appeal in a two-paragraph statement that included no explanation.

In contrast to the NCAA's stance and in line with the wide spread corruption on the UNR campus under President Milton Glick's leadership, one gets rewarded and protected for lying at UNR (i.e. Former Golf Coach Rich Merritt and Athletic Director Cary Groth). RALLY DEMANDING ACTION TO BE HELD IN UNIVERSITY OF NEVADA RENO CORRUPTION CASE

A public demonstration to bring attention to the criminal corruption case pending against the University of Nevada Reno has been set for Friday, October 30, 2009, at Noon in front of the Second Judicial District Court, 75 Court Street, Reno, Nevada.

Outraged citizens and the community have rallied together to demand truth and transparency in an ongoing battle to bring officials at UNR before a Washoe County Grand Jury on corruption and other criminal charges. If reasonable evidence was brought forth, the District Court was ordered by the Supreme Court to impanel the Grand Jury. The decision of Judge Steinheimer in this matter is anxiously awaited by all concerned, including the student community at UNR.

“This is not just an airing of dirty laundry. Officials at UNR have been able to avoid a real investigation for too long, said NSLEOA President Ron Cuzze.

Impaneling the Grand Jury will insure that the truth comes forward and those responsible for criminal acts and corruption at UNR are held accountable.”

The Nevada Law Enforcement Officers' Association represents members working for the University of Nevada Reno Police Department, as well as sworn officers in state service throughout Nevada. In addition to the NSLEOA, organizations supporting the request for a Grand Jury investigation of UNR are the Nevada Association of Public Safety Officers (NAPSO) and the Reno Outreach for Animal Rights (ROAR).

Terri Patraw: Criminal Acts By UNR Administrators

Police department employees, the community and action groups are fighting mad over corruption at the University of Nevada Reno (UNR). But it is not just the corruption itself that has these people up in arms, it is alleged that UNR officials have seemingly been swaying the law, and have been able to sway the State, news media and even stay out of local courts despite the evidence against them, according to a press release by Richard McCann, Legal Defense Plan Administrator.

Now a Grand Jury is formally being requested to hear evidence of this major corruption case involving officials at UNR based on testimony by citizens at an hearing in the Second Judicial District Court.

Through a Grand Jury investigation, criminal indictments may be sought against UNR President Milton Glick, Chief of Police Adam Garcia, Athletic Director Cary Groth, General Counsel Mary Dugan, and several other UNR Officials. UNR spokespersons Jane Tors and private attorney Kent Robison are also allegedly implicated in the criminal allegations.

"The evidence against UNR officials is staggering...", said Ron Cuzze, President of NSLEOA. "The public should accept nothing less than a full examination and criminal prosecution . . . Nevada cannot bow to political pressure and allow this corruption to be swept under the carpet."

Terri Patraw: Fraud And Forgery At UNR

This is testimony from a current UNR Professor on a UNR faculty member committing fraud and forgery on her dissertation after failing to secure the necessary approval of her dissertation committee:

He (a Penn State University Official) told me one other thing. He said this is the worst academic fraud issue I've had in my entire career. He said, In fact, it changed the way I do business...

So now we have a person on UNR's faculty (Patricia Cashman). We now know we have this person who has committed fraud and forgery, and she is teaching undergraduate students, has been for years, and she is high and mighty to them about ethics and cheating and you've gotta do everything right because this is how it is done in the real world.

So bottom line is I think this is 100 percent proven that this was fraud and forgery. So what did UNR do about this?

Q When we're looking at page 1701, which is your letter to President Milton Glick in January 3rd of '08, here he's receiving a letter from a tenured faculty member like yourself concerned that we have someone defrauding the students at the university. Did you ever hear from President Glick?

There was never a reply ever from President Glick.

Terri Patraw: Oppressive Operation

This may help to explain some things:

There was a 2005 faculty morale study that was widely circulated and widely published. This was about one year after Mary Dugan was appointed the UNR General Counsel.

The remakable thing about this faculty morale study is it said that a very large number of respondents - - these are faculty in the university - - they cited a climate of intimidation, fear, and powerlessness among university faculty and staff.

They described their work environment as hostile and expressed concern for a lack of rule of law on campus.

Many of them took great pains to ensure their anonymity to respond to this survey because they expressed fear of retaliation or even termination for expressing their viewpoints.

I think that tells the story of what the climate is on this campus because of this oppressive operation we're calling a RICO operation.

Terri Patraw: UNR Ordered To Reinstate Police Officer

The University of Nevada, Reno was ordered by a Nevada State Personnel Commission Hearing Officer to reinstate police officer Lane Grow to the UNRPD today.

Grow is one of my co-Petitioner's on the petition to convene a grand jury on corruption at UNR.

Grow claimed wrongful termination. And the Hearing Officer agreed.

Grow blew the whistle on corruption within the UNRPD, led by UNR Police Chief Adam Garcia.

UNR General Counsel Mary Dugan was the losing attorney for the University. Garcia was the administrator responsible for the wrongful termination of Grow.

No retaliation there, huh, President Glick?!!!
