Fake Facebook Profiles Lead To Felony Charges

Reader Feedback:

I saw this incident, "Girls Busted For Phony Facebook Pages", Friday evening on the Fox News Channel, looked it up on the Internet, and thought you would find it very, very interesting.

Two Florida girls are facing cyberstalking charges for allegedly creating a fake Facebook profile in the name of a fellow high school student and placing obscene photos on the page.

They were picked up this week and each charged with a felony count of aggravated stalking of a minor.

Investigators, who learned of the existence of the phony Facebook profiles in late-April, used search warrants and subpoenas to link their creation to the girls.

Well as you can see, these two girls with their very own criminal intent and imagination, have the immaturity of the UNR campus police - they thought it was a joke and funny.

This is felonious cyberstalking, and those who engage in computer retaliation are guilty of it.

Impeccable timing as your website has just dealt with Facebook issues.
