Athletic Director Cary Groth's "Creepy, Appalling" Directives

Reader Feedback:

I just finished reading your latest blogs, "Ugly Sinister Tactics..."and "Nevada Athletic Director Cary Groth's 'Watchful Eyes'".   I am appalled!

Doesn't Cary Groth realize the egregious burden she forces upon her entire staff by mandating a written directive and an ultimatum to them, to report any sightings of you?

Does she not think that her staff members have the right to go about their own personal business, shop and run errands, go the the movies or park, or walk their dog on their leisure days and hours off, and be regular law-abiding citizens and individuals on weekends?

Does she not think that staff members need quality time with their family and personal time for themselves without spending extra time for HER as the AD snooping, spying, and reporting back to HER?

All of this with their family members in tow, involving family time, and infringing upon family members with these "creepy" extracurricular activities?

The university is federally funded which means they could lose a great deal of revenue by violating civil rights. Groth, by trying to control who you can and cannot talk to, is infringing upon Constitutional rights.

Cary Groth not only engages in criminal activities but she encourages and perpetrates an extremely hostile working environment.

The UNR Athletic Department staff, I am sure, would agree that they could put their time and energy to more positive and valuable goals.
