Also, in stating that, he wants a "vibrant athletic program," Milton Glick is acknowledging that right now, in the very present, and under Cary Groth and others, the program is far from vibrant!
It hasn't been the same since you left.
And I think in analyzing Milton Glick, saying that he wants a vibrant athletic department is an indirect proclamation of intended goal and desire, in that HE, Milton Glick knows it hasn't been the same since you left, and he wishes you were back.
